From idea to platform
A brief look at how FlowAI went from a weekend prototype to a platform trusted by thousands of teams.
The Idea
Frustrated with expensive, rigid workflow tools, our founders began prototyping an AI-first alternative that could understand natural language.
First Commit
The FlowAI repository went public. Built on Next.js, Hono, and React Flow, the visual editor and AI workflow builder took shape.
Community Launch
Open beta launched with 50+ integrations, real-time execution monitoring, and the marketplace. Early adopters began building and sharing workflows.
Team Features
Collaborative editing, RBAC, SSO, audit logs, and workspace management shipped. FlowAI became production-ready for teams of every size.
AI Agents
